Branding Agency in Kolkata.

What makes a company grow into a brand?

A unique voice? A specific purpose? An overall vision and theme?

A logo is not a brand. A brand is what people expect from you before you have said anything, and it is built by everything looking and sounding like it came from the same place.

We build that: positioning, name and tagline, logo, colour, type, collateral and the written guidelines that keep it consistent after we leave.

Position 4.2 on Google and no clicks is a snippet problem. This page fixes the snippet and gives the visitor a reason to stay.

How we work

What is Our Branding Process?

  1. Understanding Your Vision

We first spend time with our clients, and the creative team and decide what are the core values of the business and the direction in which it is headed.

  2. Our Creatives Will Get Started

Post getting a proper brief, our creatives will get started on creating taglines, captions, logos, and everything in between. Proper market research will also help in getting a macro view of your marketplace.

  3. Feedback and Monitoring

Once our creatives come up with the branding theme, design and logo, it’s time to take your feedback and get the process on the road. Also, we always monitor the branding outcomes to see if they resonate.

When a business needs branding

You are launching

Getting it right at the start is cheaper than correcting it in year three, once the logo is on signage, packaging and forty thousand printed forms.

You have outgrown the logo you made in a hurry

Almost every business starts with something knocked together. There comes a point where it costs you credibility with the customers you now want.

Your materials look like four different companies

Different blues on the website and the brochure. Three fonts nobody chose. A logo that exists in six slightly different versions because everyone has their own file.

You are entering a new market or category

What worked for a local audience may not translate when you go national, or when you move from one demographic to another.

Nobody can say what you do

If your own staff describe the business differently depending on who is asking, the problem is positioning, not design.

What our branding service includes

Discovery

We sit down with you and the creative team and work out the core values of the business and the direction it is headed. What you sell, who buys it, what they think of you now, and what you want them to think instead.

Market and competitor research

A macro view of your marketplace. What everyone in your category looks like, so we can make you look like none of them while still being credible.

Positioning and messaging

The one-line answer to "what is this business". Then the supporting messages, the tone of voice, and the words you use and avoid.

Naming and taglines

Where you need them. Our creatives develop taglines, captions and naming options against the brief rather than in a vacuum.

Logo and identity

The primary mark, its variations, the lock-ups, and the rules for clear space and minimum size. Delivered in every format your printer, your developer and your intern will ask for.

Colour and typography systems

A palette with defined roles, and a type system with a hierarchy. So the next person who makes a poster does not have to guess.

Corporate identity collateral

Stationery, signage, presentation templates, brochures, packaging, uniforms. Whatever your business actually uses.

Social and digital templates

The formats your team posts every week, built once so nobody rebuilds them badly every Monday.

Brand guidelines

Written down. What the logo does, what it never does, which colours, which fonts, what the voice sounds like. This document is what makes the investment survive staff turnover.

How our branding process runs

Step 1: Understanding your vision

We spend time with you and our creative team, deciding what the core values of the business are and the direction it is headed. Nothing gets designed before that is written down and agreed.

Step 2: The creatives get started

With a proper brief in hand, our creative team develops taglines, captions, logos and everything in between. Market research runs alongside, giving a macro view of your marketplace so the work is distinct rather than accidentally derivative.

Step 3: Feedback

Once the branding theme, design and logo are ready, we take your feedback and work it in. Structured rounds, not endless revision.

Step 4: Monitoring

We keep watching how the branding lands after launch, to see whether it resonates with the audience it was built for. Branding that nobody responds to is a design exercise, not a business asset.

Branding for clinics and healthcare

A significant part of our work is healthcare, including Jain Hospital Howrah, Arton Clinics, MCKV Health and Charring Cross.

Branding in healthcare is a different discipline from branding a fashion label:

  • Reassurance beats excitement. Patients are not looking for bold. They are looking for competent and clean.
  • The identity has to work in hard places. Signage in a corridor, a form under fluorescent light, an app on an old Android phone. Not just on a moodboard.
  • Consistency is a trust signal. If the clinic's Google listing, front door and prescription pad look like three organisations, patients notice.
  • Claims are constrained. Taglines that imply medical outcomes need care. We will flag anything that cannot be substantiated.

Branding for product and personal brands

The other half of our book. Fashion and accessories with Anges, florals and lifestyle with The Botanists Story, personal brands with Nehha Nhata, and technology with Invict IQ.

Product brands live or die on packaging and shelf presence, physical or digital. Personal brands need a system flexible enough for one person to run without a designer on call. Both need the same underlying work: know what you stand for, then make everything look like it.

What you receive

  • Positioning statement and messaging framework
  • Logo suite in vector and raster, every variation and lock-up
  • Colour palette with defined roles and print and screen values
  • Typography system and hierarchy
  • Corporate identity collateral as scoped
  • Social and presentation templates
  • Written brand guidelines
  • Working files, handed over. They are yours.

Branding and everything else

Branding sits underneath the rest of the marketing. A website built before the identity is settled gets rebuilt. Social media without templates becomes inconsistent within a month. Ad creative with no brand system behind it looks like a stranger every time it appears.

If you are doing more than one of these, do branding first or at least in parallel.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need branding?
If your materials look inconsistent, if your own staff describe the business differently, or if the logo no longer suits the customers you now want, branding is the right investment. If the problem is that nobody can find you at all, fix visibility first with SEO or paid ads, then come back to branding.
What does a branding project cost in Kolkata?
It depends entirely on scope. A logo and basic identity is a fraction of a full corporate identity programme with packaging, signage and guidelines. Digi Kydo quotes per project rather than publishing a rate card, and gives an indicative range on the first call.
How long does a branding project take?
The process is fixed even when the timeline is not: discovery with you and our creative team, then creative development backed by market research, then structured feedback rounds, then post-launch monitoring.
Do I own the logo and the source files?
Yes. Working files are handed over at the end of the project.
What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?
A logo is one mark. A brand identity is the whole system around it: colour, typography, imagery, collateral, tone of voice and the written rules for using them. A logo alone leaves every future decision to whoever happens to be making the poster.
Can you rebrand without losing our existing recognition?
Usually, yes. Evolution rather than replacement is often the right call when a business has built recognition worth keeping. That decision comes out of discovery, not out of a preference for doing more work.
